Empowering people to feel confident and supported in their health is my superpower. I'm passionate about this because I’ve lived through it: postpartum burnout, thyroid imbalances, and seasons of significant personal stress. I experienced times when conventional healthcare felt dismissive as well as times where providers really connected and guided me. My own healing began when I brought in functional testing and mind + body approaches. I learned how to listen to my body, understand how it holds stress and trauma, and figure out what nourishment and calm actually look like in the middle of raising two girls, being present for family and friends, and building a business.

Health and wellness doesn't need to be managed alone. We don’t need to be secretly internet searching for support. You deserve relief now, not just put it off until later. The Vitality Method is a comprehensive nutrition and whole body healing program, guided by an expert registered dietitian and highly personalized to what your body needs.

I’m your go-to nutrition and wellness expert at your fingertips with daily messaging access and weekly one-on-one touch points.

One comprehensive initial nutrition session
90 minute one-on-one assessment with Kelsey to review your health history, symptoms, goals, and create a plan that fits you. Insurance-eligible.

Seven follow up one-on-one nutrition sessions
45 minute one-on-one follow-up sessions every other week to adjust your plan, troubleshoot challenges and celebrate wins. Insurance-eligible.

2 hair mineral test kits and detailed nutrition plan
One completed in the first month and one at the end of the program to see progress. You’ll receive specific nutrition and lifestyle recommendations based on your hair test results, sometimes supplement suggestions if needed.

  • Mineral balance, hormone health and habit change takes time. I find that working closely together for the 4 months is where I see clients get the best results. The program is worked in phases. In each phase we provide strategic support through the 1:1 sessions and the workbook so you get lasting, sustainable results.

    This not a self paced course. It is not a nutrition visit and then follow up in 3 months. This is not a group class.

    The Vitality Method is a highly supportive one-on-one coaching system with a Registered Dietitian created to truly facilitate health changes for clients struggling with burnout and fatigue, thyroid and hormone imbalances, irregular cycles, PCOS and insulin resistance.

  • HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) is a non-invasive test that helps us understand mineral patterns that influence energy production, stress response, digestion, and hormone signaling. Because minerals act as “spark plugs” or key drivers of many physiological processes, imbalances in mineral patterns can contribute to fatigue, burnout, blood sugar issues, and hormone-related symptoms — even when standard blood work appears normal.

    HTMA measures minerals and toxic metals stored in the hair, providing a picture of your minerals over the previous 2–3 months. This differs from blood tests, which reflect a single moment in time. HTMA does not diagnose medical conditions; instead, it helps us identify functional patterns so we can make targeted nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle adjustments.

    HTMA is a core part of this program and is completed by all clients. We typically run the test twice — once early on to establish a baseline and guide your plan, and once near the end to assess progress and create a clear maintenance plan.

    Testing is completed at home using a mailed kit from Trace Elements that includes instructions, forms, and prepaid return envelope. Once results are available, we create a detailed plan for nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements if needed. We use a food first approach and provide simple recipes to help you incorporate the recommendations. We then use targeted supplementation if needed.

  • With Insurance: $470 (or $120 per month)
    Without Insurance: $1400 (or $350 per month)

    *If using health insurance, we will bill your insurance after each session and you are responsible for any fees not covered by your plan such as deductibles, copays or coinsurance.
    Many plans have $0 copay nutrition visits, but not all. You need to verify your coverage by calling yourself and using this script. Reach out to me if you need assistance with this verification.

    Optional Lab Add Ons:
    If you would like additional functional testing beyond the 2 HTMAs, we can make a recommendation for what to include based on your initial consult. You receive these tests at cost to keep them accessible.

    DUTCH Complete Hormone Test: $310
    GI-MAP Stool Test: $330

  • The program is designed to easily fit your schedule. The materials are streamlined and provided gradually. Expect about 20-40 minutes a week to go through the Vitality Workbook and the check ins. One-on-one sessions are 45 minutes every other week. Any nutrition or lifestyle goals we set together will be customized to be achievable for you and the time you have available.

  • Yes. I am in network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Select Health, Pacific Source, Mountain Health Co-Op.

    Insurance can only be used for the one-on-one sessions. There is a cash pay component even if you use insurance to cover the cost of the between session services that insurance will not pay for.

    If I am out of network with your plan, I can provide a superbill, which is a document detailing the service provided that you send to insurance yourself for potential full or partial reimbursement.

  • Yes, the payment processor accepts HSA/FSA. Occasionally these payments get declined, so check with your HSA/FSA provider.

  • Yes. We will have you enter recent lab results into the intake forms and we will discuss labs as part of the initial assessment session. If appropriate for you, I’ll suggest specific labs that you can request through your primary care provider.

  • The one-on-one sessions are where we do the deep personalization of your nutrition and lifestyle plan. About every two weeks is ideal to move through the program phases together. We review the work you’ve done on your own in the Vitality Workbook, troubleshoot challenges, guide educational discussions and make and adjust goals. Every client has a unique-to-them plan throughout and the ability to quickly pivot if the plan isn’t feeling great.

  • Most of my clients already eat a pretty balanced diet, however nutrition often causes significant stress and confusion. I always cover the foundations of nutrition with clients, layering in specific goals based on hair mineral test results, health conditions or symptoms. Clients may have specific food intolerances that may need to be explored. Often we’re optimizing a client’s eating to support healthy metabolism, hormones and gut health, which is highly personalized compared to general healthy diet advice. I also focus on creating a personalized balanced meal planning system, as this makes healthy eating simpler and more achievable.

  • This is nutrition and lifestyle care provided by a Registered Dietitian. It is not therapy or medical treatment, and it does not replace care from your physician or mental health provider. Complete an application and we can find out if we’re a good fit to help you feel better.

  • The program was designed from years of experience and with client’s long-term success in mind.

    We cannot guarantee any specific health outcomes. Our bodies are complex and the program consistently sees positive changes in client’s health but we cannot promise any specific issue goes away. We do promise to show up consistently and with empathy to provide supportive guidance through any challenges.

    This is a lifestyle program and does require clients to be open to change, which can feel difficult or uncomfortable. Our job is to make change feel doable and not overwhelming, but it does still require putting in the work. If you are not interested in working on stress, lifestyle, and mindset, this is not the program for you.

    We only accept clients who are a good fit and that we feel we can successfully support to achieve their goals. The application and a discovery call with Kelsey are steps that can answer any questions or worries about your specific situation.
